What if I was like, “Hello, my stupid ugly subscribers!” Wouldn’t that be awful? The truth is, I’d never talk about you guys like that.

Well, here’s a Friday 15 for you and your family. I hope you enjoy it!

Also, for the next few months, we’ll be doing two free songs! Go crazy. Again, don’t spend it all in one place.1

"Cool for the Summer - Plastic Plates Remix" - Demi Lovato (2015)
Spotify | Apple | YouTube Music | TIDAL
The first time in April it gets above 60° on the East Coast and above 70° on the West Coast, I play this song. This is my “It’s warm outside!” song. I’m going to be honest with you: I’ve never listened to the original version of this song. I only listen to the remix.

"Maybe Angels" - Sheryl Crow (1996)
Spotify | Apple | YouTube Music | TIDAL
I included this one on my favorite album openers list a few weeks back. Y’all, please listen to this full album as soon as you get a chance. Sheryl Crow’s self-titled. It’s one of my favorite albums of all time. I love the groaning opening sound on this track and, I’ll say it again, the guitar riff rocks my world. Sheryl Crow was singing about aliens in 1996! Sheryl Crow, I love you!!!!!!

My family played the album around the house a bunch when I was growing up. And almost 30 years later, these two lines from “A Change Would Do You Good” still stand out to me as some of my favorite lyrics ever sung:

Congratulations, @lluisa_s781! Your video is this week’s Video Of The Week!
